Raspberry - Almond Coffee Cake (THB)







Another keeper recipe from Lou Seibert Pappas 's cookbook , Coffee Cake that we're currently baking at THB . The Home Bakers (THB)  event is hosted by Joyce of Kitchen Flavours .  We really enjoy this moist ,crumbly & flavourful cake. This awesome recipe is selected by  Angela from The Charmed Cupcake  .  What a great pick, Angela!  Angela has baked this cake with a lovely layering of the streusel in the middle that gaves a wonderful effect & so appetizing .     The only thing better than streusel on top is streusel in the middle and on top, Kit! Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing, Kit...

    Hi Kit,
    Wish I could bake this cake using raspberries, but they are SO COSTLY over here!!! This is a winner recipe. We enjoyed this cake very much.
    And gorgeous roses !!! :)

    Hi Kit,

    Your raspberry almond cake looks beautiful with the pretty pink Spring colour. Everything is turning brown and ugly here :( :( :(

    About your question about CLAS... We are baking and cooking recipes from the stars from our previous CLAS events (ie. Donna Hay, Ina Garten, Jamie Oliver, Bill Granger and etc). Sorry that Julia Child is not one of them :p

    This is a gorgeous cake, love the color and the streusel on top and the rose :) Guess have to admire it from afar since raspberries cost a fortune here.
